First time fasting in a long time. I’m 30. Releventaly healthy. Researching IF.
What are redditors thoughts on fasting and excerise versus fasting and resting.
I’m just fasting as a means of detoxing my body. Short term goal.. Just drinking black coffee with a spinkle of salt. It’s day three and the hunger phangs are starting to going away. Wondering if excerising would be detrimental.
I do have cravings but usually when I’m bored or not busy.
Your input would be greatly appreciated.
I do 4 day fasts about once a month. During the fast I typically alternate lifting days with long incline walks or stairs. I end my fast with a really solid lift where I try to hit every muscle group. You’ll likely be a little more sore than usual and lack some of strength you normally have, but just take it slow, and listen to your body. And whatever you do, DRINK WATER AND ELECTROLYTES!
