For those who workout fasted what do you do for protein shakes after your workout? I’ve heard if you wait to long after a workout it doesn’t help with recovery. Is that true?
Been lifting in a fasted state every morning for three years. My eating window doesn’t open for 5hours after I work out. I’ve seen nothing but gains (except in the BF% area 🤣).
Just lift as normal and eat when your window opens.
No, a fast is a fast. So if I work out during a fast I still am having nothing but water and zero-calorie beverages until the end of my fast. Its actually not that hard to do when you are used to it. That said, my workouts might not be that hard compared to some. For me its walking or cycling for an hour, maybe a few weights.
