Fastest fasting method for quick weight loss ?

Hi, I did the 16:8 for about a year. Dropped about 15 lbs. This time I want to do it quick and lose more. Which do you find the most successful and how much time did it take you to lose your first 10-20 lbs ?

Thank you guys!!

Answer

Rolling 60s or 72s, with at least 2 days of weight training for epoc and increased metabolism.

For example, work out Monday afternoon and eat dinner, fast until Wednesday morning breakfast.

Work out Wednesday afternoon and eat dinner, fast until Friday morning breakfast.

Work out Friday afternoon, eat dinner, fast until Sunday or Monday and repeat.

If you can eat high protein keto that helps too.

I’ve been doing rolling 60s. Basically eat dinner on Sunday then breakfast Wednesday, eat normally all Wednesday then not again until Saturday then just keep repeating the pattern. Lost 40lbs in 3 months. Keep in mind you’ll put water weight back on immediately so you’ll want to overshoot your goal by 10lbs.

It’s calories in vs calories out, the fastest weight loss is the longest you can fast without falling off the wagon.

I’ve seen radical things from Snake Diet (there’s a subreddit around here somewhere) which is 72hrs fasted, refeed, then 72hrs again, over and over, while drinking an electrolyte replenishing Salt Water mix.

Obviously, you’ll have more fat loss staying in ketosis during refeeds but ketogenic diets don’t float everyone’s boat

I did 88:8 for a couple of months and lost 40 pounds, but it wasn’t sustainable and ended up back down to OMEOD (alternate day OMAD/44:4) for my 2lbs a week.

I’ll prolly settle back into OMAD/20:4 as an endgame maintenance schedule.
