I agree with Eis, I think it’s quite personal matter. There are plenty of different resources that state opposite - that if you are healthy this prolonged fast may be very beneficial for you. Personally I don’t think I also could do it either, but some people do that from time to time and feel great :D

There are so many fear mongering articles out there about women and fasting. I’ve seen tons of them and they used to worry me a lot.

However, I regularly fast over 24hrs (by a little bit) and have no issues. Other people/women do much longer with no negative side effects. In fact, many published studies on fasting have samples of all women and the protocols include alternate day fasting and extended fasts, all over 24hrs. So a blog post saying it’s bad vs published research on controlled experiments showing benefits says a lot to me.
