Can I fast for 48-72 hours after taking covid vaccine? Just took mine a few hours ago. Will it be alright?
Uhh they’re not FDA approved. I’m not sure what on earth would make you want to fast plus take some experimental medicine that’s not approved for human use. You’re taking the vaccine to stay alive and avoid this deadly disease that is such a huge problem. Fasting can wait. Staying alive is all that matters. Hurry up. Go now before they run out. COVID is killing everyone not behind plexiglass. You can always fast all food and water later.
I don’t know and neither does anyone else here. I’m inclined to believe you’ll be just fine, but I have no idea what stresses the vaccine could put on the body. I’d stay on one small meal a day until you’re no longer worried about it.
r/fasting has a lot of discussion topics on this and the general consensus is no. Do not fast after getting your vaccine since it could lower your immune response. I would hop over there and do a search. A lot of people have weighed in
