Fasting and Candida

Hey fellow fasters! I am wondering what/if your experience has been with fasting and candida?

I’ve read a few articles, which seem to be pseudo science. Essentially, I have been having some issues which I feel might be related to candida. Not positive if it is intestinal, but I have a rash on my neck that I feel is most likely candida.

Has anyone been able to clear/eliminate candida intestinal or skin infection through fasting?

For the record, I consider myself a some-what seasoned faster. I completed a 28 day fast (followed by 2 days of broth) in September, and have done rolling 48s/72s for weeks at time, and done number of 5-8 day fasts.

It’s possible you have keto rash. I got it and it was hell although I had it on like 30% of my body. I’d just google it and see if that seems right. If it is, there are different treatments such as minocycline (prescription antibiotic), bile salts, or consuming carbs

Maybe it’s not what you have but just something to look into!

Answer

yes it is very useful as it will reset your digestive system but after that fast will come the hard work as you will need to reassess all your foods and remove everyone that cause the problems

The longer fasts will help even better once you removed all the irritating foods as they MIGHT be able to be reintroduced over time.

If you are doing all this fasting already, what makes you think it’s candida?
Most of the top Drs that make videos on fasting all say that fasting helps with candida :) But it’s also equally important as to what we break the fast with and which foods we continue to eat after the fast.

Answer

its really hard to find medical care, an acupuncturist helped me. undecylenic acid, probiotics, and mushrooms have helped a lot. you can try to force a die off on the full moon when the parasite is more active. intermittent fasting in addition to my supplements helped my stomach have some off time. and a broth fast (mushroom broth with coconut oil) on the full moon was great.
