Fasting and Gaining Muscle

Hi I have a question about going to the gym and intermittent fasting. Currently I am 96.5 KG at 6 foot 5 and have a belly/man boobs I would like to get rid of so I started fasting 16:8 but also going to the gym to try and gain muscle, if I am losing weight will I still be gaining muscle? I know very little about this. I am not concerned too much about losing weight if I can turn my stomach and pecs into muscle, its more the mental effects I’m seeking from the fasting.

I have been attempting to do this and have been incorporating weight lifting into my fasting and have been surprised at how quickly I have started to put on muscle over the last few months. Just make sure you are getting enough protein,
