Yes, it happens to me too. I’ll be doing good with my dieting (keto) and slowly lose weight, but then for like 3 days the number will get stuck and then my period hits me.I also have a pretty heavy flow.
Yes, your body can start storing water a few days before your period. You might also need to eat more and either take a break from fasting or have a bigger eating window. Just listen to your body’s needs.
Your body will change the amount of water it’s holding but if you’re fasting you’re losing half a pound very roughly of fat daily…
If you’re not eating the fat is burning and if you do it for long enough you’ll notice results in fact it doesn’t take that long if you’re really strict.

So I apparently planned my first 7 day fast the same time my period was supposed to start…. im 34 hours in and this is the hardest it’s ever been. I’m sorely tempted to break. Like right now. Maybe with something healthy and turn it into a rolling 35s for 7 days? I feel awful and I have no clue.
