Does anyone have any knowledge on this? Tried to look online but couldn’t find much.
If are still healing at all, bleeding, cramping etc do not fast. Eat healthy. Your body uses a ton of energy in healing and has to take those resources from somewhere. It can be taxing on other areas of the body, exhausting and even lengthen the healing time.
Make sure you get protein, foods with vitamins and plenty of water.
After you’ve completely recovered you can fast. I hope you recover quickly and wish you all the best.
You really shouldn’t be fasting at this time. You need to keep your body warm and nourished. Take hot baths and actually soak in them for ab 30min to 1hr, hot showers as well. Eat warm red meat if you can. If not just make sure your protien intake is not cold like chilled edamame or chickpeas. Stay away from dairy and sweets until your next cycle as it causes inflammation and can slow the healing process. Look up herbs like angelica root tea. Bengkung wraps will help as well. Make them tight enough to support you but not so tight that it becomes uncomfortable, wear for however long you need but do not sleep in them. I wish you the best in your recovery.
