Answer

Yeah, I would agree with the previous post to consult with whomever is prescribing your medicine. In my experience when I was doing IF, my depression and anxiety didn’t really get better or worse through it. Like, feeling like I was starving and wasn’t allowed to eat was hard, but with my job I worked through it. So, I think it really works based on who you are and how you relate food to your mood.

Answer

I’d talk to your therapist/prescribing doctor about it. Going most of the day without eating can be a problem for some people. So if you do try it, do it under medical supervision.

And if you have to take your meds with food, then you might not even be able to do IF.

Answer

Mileage may vary but for me I noticed my anxiety level has reduced a lot. I’m not sure why because I’m always worrying and anxious about things. I’m doing OMAD and found it rather odd that my symptoms reduced to a noticeably absent level. Nothing else has changed other than diet.

Answer

I am an anxious person, I do not take meds. .I find that when I am doing simple 16:8 or 18:6 I am in a better head space. I feel like I am in control. I am also over weight so that may play into it. I would encourage you to start simple with those times and making sure you are sleeping as well.
