Relatively new faster here. Does the fasting high/euphoria coincide with entering ketosis? Are they related? Sorry if this is a dumb question.
I like this question it is very interesting.
I fast and I am keto. I did not take this into consideration. I just thought that euphoria would have been from a fast alone. Something to think about though.

Yes it does. I first get it after 24 hours (mild ketosis). It comes with an increased ability to concentrate. When I hit 4 days I go into high ketosis (you can test that with pin pricks). This is not so much a high, as a kind of steady, reliable good mood. I call it keto-calm. It is one of the best reasons to fast
