Fasting once a week for plateaus

Sorry if this has been asked before. But does fasting for longer than 24 hours once a week ( say 36-48 hours) help with breaking plateaus?

Thanks in advance

Answer

It seems that changing things up once in a while to confuse the body helps the most. This means fasting, going non-keto when you have a keto diet, etc. lots of people always mention how they noticed breaking through a plateau when they did something different. I suspect it has something to do with the body having reached comfortable homeostasis and the sudden change causes the body to start back trying to reach homeostasis.
