Fasting outcomes during different menstrual cycle phases

Does water fasting during certain phases of the menstrual cycle reduce the benefits? I can imagine that fasting after ovulation but prior to menstruation might be problematic, and fasting during menstruation specifically could be the most taxing.

Normally if you’re fasting prior to ovulation, you would just delay ovulation and things would be fine. But if the fast begins after ovulation had already occurred, menstruation is on its way no matter what.

Answer

Yup pretty much, I always opt for after ovulation, rather than prior / delaying ovulation. I feel better from day 1 of menstruation through to ovulation, and actually find fasting post ovulation calming /relaxing etc.
