That is not how calories work. They don’t get absorbed and processed instantly. Depending on food (macros) it might take several hours for food to be digested and for the glycogen stores to be empty. Most poeple take around 8h of fasting to even reach light ketosis.
I personally would not consider 9h a fast. For me a fast = minimum 20h with zero calories (only water, black coffee and herbal tea)
