fasting schedule to lose weight fast

I did ADF two years ago but its been a while since I’ve water fasted.. I’ve been eating way too unhealthily these past few months and got up to around 155lbs (5’6” female) and want to get to around 130lbs by mid/end of July.. Is this a possible goal if I do the 5:2 fasting schedule & working out around 5/6 times a week? Or is there another schedule that would work better for me to reach this goal?

It is possible to lose weight on that schedule but I would suggest trying rolling 72s. Light cardio exercise two times a day or maybe one cardio session walking for an hour and then a endurance based strength training program in the evenings. Being 25 lb away from your gold weight can cause your program to have to shift in a short period of time depending on how well you do on the 72s.

But I would definitely start with a 72-hour fast to see how you feel and make sure that you’re eating window is 1 hour. Happy fasting.

I’ve dropped from 210 to 186 since April 20. I’m 47 and 6’2”.

I actually eat dinner only on Friday and Saturday because that’s when I socialize but go right back to breakfast only on Monday (I try to do an early dinner on Sunday)

Hi! I’m in the same exact place, same height and weight, this week I planned on doing rolling 72s and ended up fasting for 7 days, lost 4kg. I’ve been doing 3-4 hours of cardio a day, 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoon. I’m planning on doing 4 7-day fasts until I weigh 60kg or rolling 72s if that’s too much. After that I’ll start playing with 72s or 48s depending how I’m doing. My refeeds are carnivore since my gut is messed up and I don’t do well with veggies for now. We can be fasting buddies if you want 😉
