Fasting with CPAP

I searched the sub and couldn’t find any previous posts that would help answer this question.

I’m familiar with wet fasting and was thinking of doing a dry fast. One problem: I have sleep apnea and use a CPAP machine at night. I live in a desert terrain with low humidity so with my machine I use about 3-5 oz a night of distilled water. It becomes steam in the chamber/tube to keep my throat and nose moist but I don’t think it goes into my stomach. I’ve tried without and wake up with a soreish dry throat.

I know it’s not exactly a dry fast but do you think it would make an impact?

Answer

It shouldn’t be too bad. It might not be a “pure” dry fast, but you can consider it kind of a soft dry fast. You will still get plenty of benefits. I’m not an expert though I just have several water/dry fasts under my belt.
