Fasting With Medication Advice

I have to take meds at 10AM and 10PM, and both meds require food. The 10AM dose takes away my appetite, and I have to take supplemental fiber (Metamucil) 2-3 times per day to assist with one of my conditions. I’m currently limiting food from 8-10AM and 6-8PM. Is there any way I can properly do IF? I’m open to creative suggestions.

Answer

You really can’t do a proper IF with that schedule. You should try for as long of an evening/overnight fast as you can (assuming you don’t need anything at night).

If you’re doing this for weight loss, then you’ll need to focus on your diet and calories, and make sure you’re getting good sleep, and work on any major stress issues you may have.
