Fasting with water more than 72hours, what to do?

Hi, I started a fasting 72hours, i read somewhere that people shouldn’t do more than 72hours without medical supervision.

What do you think about that? I don’t have known medical problem, I’m feeling ok so far and I want to push the fasting more days.

I also heard that putting salt in the water could help with cramps.

Any advice of what I should be aware?

I only did a 2 weeks of food coma before to start but I don’t know what I should be aware 😅

thank you guys

Answer

You shouldn’t have any problems if you are healthy. If you don’t have any heart problems, diabetes, etc. My recommendation is to take electrolytes, preferably in powder form. You will have bad days after the mentioned period, but everything will pass. It is part of the healing process. If your heart starts pounding or if you feel that you are losing consciousness, stop the fast.
