Fasts becoming harder and less productive as I approach my goal weight

I 100% expected this to happen given the smaller fat reserves I’d have left to use for energy as well as my lower maintenance calorie amount as I lost weight.

However, it’s still something that makes me a bit sad and can be subconsciously discouraging 😞 Is there anything I can do to remedy it? Or is it just something I gotta accept and move forward

Mainly just needed to rant about something I expected to happen, but open to discussion/advice

Answer

I’m not there yet, but I’ve thought about this ever since I did keto years ago, about how it’d be harder and slower the closer I got to my main weight goal, and I thought at that point it’d be worth to start doing weight training (if I haven’t before that point). Muscle burns fat even when resting, so maybe focusing some of your efforts to developing muscle would work?
