I have always used a powder. Chemist warehouse has a couple. There 2-3000 per serve I think. I don’t take it though I only take 3000 a day for a couple of days amongst stressful periods were I could be working out and working a lot, or had a bad sleep and a big day the next and I am run down.
A shot glass of orange or cranberry juice every morning will give you all you need. Supplements are not part of a healthy lifestyle, nor should they be relied upon. They are a temporary fix, a last resort, you shouldn’t ever need them if you live your life in a sensible manner.
Food sources are better - there is a complex interaction from the nutrients from food that is lost when a single compound is extracted in a supplement. Here’s a good article on Vitamin C that talks to its benefits, deficiency, food sources, etc.

Ok this isn’t going to be a quick fix, but sauerkraut is high in vitamin C and has loads of other health benefits due to the probiotics in there. I normally go with a 2-4 week ferment of red cabbage.
“Sauerkraut is an incredibly high source of vitamin C, with raw, fermented red cabbage having the highest levels at almost 700 mg per cup”
If you’re going to take a supplement look for one that is 3rd party tested so you know what is in it is what they say is in it. Supplements are not as regulated as food or prescription meds. Look for labels/stamps from USP, NSF or Consumer Labs on the packaging.
This is just a random store but this is the one I’d recommend.
High quality and slower release so you can take a dose and get it throughout the day and not just pee it all out before lunch time.
I really like “Organika’s Instant C, D, Zinc” tablets. you drop them in water and then drink. its 1000mg of C per tablet. But I understand it might not be ideal for someone who wants a higher C intake since D is a fat-soluble vitamin, so you can’t take too too much extra of this one specifically.
It is, however, delicious and made a habit of C and D intake for me.
