I started fasting Sunday at 6pm and went 26 hours. I broke Nd had a bagel with cream cheese and cashews (about 500 cals). I started fasting again at 1030pm and my goal this time is 36. I am struggling right now. I know I’m not hungry but I really want to eat. I also really want to get to 36+ hours
I’ve been there at least several dozen times before I was able to get into the stretches of several days and more. The trick that I used is completely depriving my surroundings of food that I liked and the ability to get them. I would delete all the food delivery apps and then block them from my credit cards, I would remove all the food I loved from the house etc.
I also made a folder of things that motivated me to lose weight and that was a reminder and useful to keep me on track when I got weak. Good luck. The first few days are the hardest.
