Finished a 2 day hard dry fast but I'm nervous about breaking it

I did a dry fast for 48 hours and a few more like 5-6 and finally managed to hit my desired weight and wish to maintain it from now. Now I’m a bit nervous about breaking the fast. What I did was drink 500ml water which is how I broke the fast and will keep drinking 500ml every other hour and also had a 200ml probiotic yogurt drink which is kind of like yakult or kefir but it has 10g sugar and tastes waay better. I just plan on eating dry raisins throughout the day (28g of them approximately) and at night I just plan on having an apple as well as 100ml of a no added sugar or preservatives apple juice. I am going to follow this plan for 2 days then switch to protein which is mainly chicken and boiled eggs from the 3rd day. I’ll mainly switch to a 16:8 intermittent fasting plan from the 3rd day. I was wondering if I should be changing anything here. Main goal right now is to maintain the weight I lost

Great job mate! Dry fasting isn’t easy and takes a lot of discipline. Don’t be discourage that you lost water weight because a good amount of it is also fat.

When you deplete your body of all the glycogen/water from your last meal in your liver/muscle, your body has to find other sources of water since you’re not consuming any. Where will it go? To your fat. Since you’re fat cells are made mostly of water (H molecules), it’ll break it up and turn it into water.

So, the first day, you’re losing most/all water weight depending on how much water you hold. After, you’re burning straight fat. Like I said, you definitely burn fat during your fast. Keep it up and don’t undervalue your accomplishment. You did great 👍!

Unfortunately you won´t maintain the weight loss, but sure some of it, would recommend doing a low carb diet option and intermittant fasting. Downside with low carb is that you will gain some of that back too when you start eating normal, but that´s pretty much just water tied to glucose.
