Hey guys I finished a 4 day hard dry fast, I really didn’t want to but I guess I tried to do anything I could to keep going but I couldn’t. Anyways I will start another one probably in 2 days, and I wondered if anyone here ever did the same (meaning fast after fast)? I read that when the body is cleaner it is better to keep going longer later etc.
The refeed is twice the amount of days than you have dry fasted, and during that time the body will keep on healing. So I interpret it such as that you should wait at least that refeeding period (and get refed properly + rehydrated) before going for the next fast.I am no expert myself but logically you miss out on healing from the first fast otherwise and also create worse starting conditions for the 2nd fast. Unless you do it strictly for weight loss.It was most certainly easier the 2nd run for me, but I had learned a bit what not to do by then lol! (did two runs with about a week between)
But also I think part of it was that the body was cleaner. Hard to know for sure what is what, like personal experience/detox/physical adaptation (the body knowing what to do).
