Finished a 7 day fast yesterday and I'm going to keep going until 14

I feel like I got more in me, and I can tolerate the pain and urges but just to make sure I’m not doing anything.

Since last night and all day today I’ve gotten hungry again, I really want to keep going and I have fat on my body still but am I doing anything dangerous?

My stomach is grumbling and my energy isn’t as great as day 5-6 so it actually feels like I’m regressing. Really want to hit that 14 day milestone for the health reasons especially autophagy since the first half of the fast it probably wasn’t happening but I don’t want to actually damage my body.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Day 3 and day 7 are always the worst for me. If you can get through day 7 should be smooth sailing after that. I don’t know what it is about day 7-8 but it’s just like the day 2-3 stuff all over again. My theory is that certain groups of bacteria die off around those days and put out a bunch of bad stuff. I have no proof of this but it’s just my gut feeling, lol.

Latest studies seem to show max benefits from water fasting for health, happen at 5 days. If you’ve done 7 days and you don’t feel great, then break your fast. Listen to your body and how you feel, and take it slow, you can always start a new fast.
