I am also new to fasting and am getting into it for the same reason. I feel like I now understand where I stand with food and have fell in love with cooking. I want to lose about 20lbs and reset my life. From what I have read black coffee and tea are okay. Good luck!
I’m new to fasting also but yes electrolytes. I’m currently on hour 49 of my first attempt at a 96 hour fast. Around hour 30 is when my body usually tells me I need some electrolytes. I actually start to feel sick similar to fever symptoms. Chills, no energy, bad mood. A health dose of a fasting friendly electrolytes mix like everyone else has mentioned in this sub and I’m back on my feet.
