Trying my first extended water fast (48+) and I’m worried about hair loss the other things that come with mineral and vitamin deficiency so I’m taking liquid multivitamins 3 times a day and adding electrolytes to my water. The 24 hr hump is always the hardest to get over but I’ve done it once with a 36 hr fast and I think I can make it again.
Does anyone know if my mouth/tounge hurting is a dehydration thing? It seems to subside for a while after drinking electrolytes water but obviously I’m just a stupid human bean and do not know all the signals my bodies is sending me.
You don’t have to worry about hair loss if this is short term. Anything long term may be different. And there’s not much you can do to stop it, unfortunately. It’s a shock to your system, which is temporary. I’ve been there, done that lol.
