First time post feeling hopeful!

This is the first time in my life where I really feel like I can do this. Back on Jan 3rd I started following this subreddit in hopes for information, inspiration, motivation, tips, tricks… I started fasting by doing 14:10 then gradually changed to 15:9, then to 16:8, and now I have it set to 17:7. (I use the simple app) I’m officially past the 10 lb loss mark and although some days have been a struggle… mostly in the morning with not drinking my coffee with creamer, and at night as l’ve been an avid after dinner snacker… But it’s the first time ever where it doesn’t feel unattainable, I’m not starving, (Surprise!) And many cravings are not even there. I have more self control. I’ve now in the last week or so decided to add in officially striving for low carb (I have PCOS and one of my main goals is to put this into remission), Fasting has helped with trying to stick to low carb, as I feel I have less meals to worry about and less chances of snacking - where many carbs sneak up. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for me on this journey!

Fantastic results so far, given the time to date! Keep it up. It it attainable!

Someone close to me also thought it was unattainable for the longest time. Once she saw progress and realized she could do it, she ran with it and had a complete transformation over the course of two years!

You can too. You’re clearly on the right track. You just need to keep up with what’s been working for you!

What a great start, congrats on your progress so far!

It’s funny, I went from skeptical to an IF lifestyle in a matter of weeks. My weight loss isn’t enough for friends to notice yet, but I know when it does and I tell them I only eat one meal per day, they are going to hate me for that because they will assume they can’t do the same. I am already excited for those conversations!
