| | Water Fasting

First update in using y'all as social pressure for my water fasting.

Eh, mixed feelings. Took me a bit over a week since I failed on day 3. We had a family barbeque and I gave in. Restarted it after that one day and been keeping it until now.

In case anyone’s thinking of doing it, here are some of my side effects.

Hunger. I experienced hunger pain on day 4, filled myself with water, and it kind of helped. Although for a couple of hours I was feeling it at its hardest. I still get it from time to time, but it is manageable.

Light head. Don’t get up too fast, you will fall.

Honestly, that’s about it. My energy levels haven’t dropped. I don’t need more sleep yet, although I do get sore muscles after my workout. I guess I should start taking it a bit easier in that aspect. Other than that, day 7 complete.

Start weight: 310 pounds

Great to hear! The more often you do a fast the less hunger pains you might expect. Doing regular prolonged fasts during the last two months has gotten rid of my hunger completely, cravings is another thing tho.

If you’re feeling lightheaded, you might want to drink some salt water to fix your electrolytes. Its not perfect but it help’s quite a bit.

It’s a good start. Good luck!

For me it’s about relearning to eat and fast, after years of fasting easy in the past.

So, tripping is expected but I keep going: 1 day, 1 hour, sometimes 1 meal at the time.
