So from tomorrow I’ll be fasting until Friday evening, in order to drop some quick bloating/water weight and get myself back into ketosis. My question is… Do I need to be careful in my refeed with this?
On Saturday I’ll be going for Indian food for a birthday, but won’t be going for something very spicy or having rice. Should I just stick to proteins? Etc.
Edited to add: My dirty water fast will consist of flavoured water alongside regular water and coffee with zero calorie creamer.
Kefir and/or probiotics really helps get things running correctly again. Your whole gut biome has starved to death. It gets a little bubbly otherwise. Sometimes for a week or two. Probiotics etc at this point helps in 4-8 hrs. I never skip this any longer.
You need to be careful, but more to avoid a stomach ache. Too much volume is always my mistake especially at restaurants. But unless you like, chug a large coke, you likely aren’t at risk for refeeding syndrome.
