I just wanna know how bad are the flour and the baked stuff for a diet or for a trying getting lean phase?
Avoid white flour products. Fiberless and nutrient poor, they’ll spike blood sugar, make you hungry and offer almost nothing.
Wholegrain flours are better. You have the fiber, protein and micronutrients, yay. But their ground fiber content won’t protect the liver from the available carbohydrate so they are not as good as intact whole grains. Wholegrain flour products can fit into a healthy diet quite easily.
