I fast all day, work out at 5 but ALL my calories come from 6-9, was thinking that some prior to my workout may be beneficial?

Energy levels while working out are actually BETTER totally fasted but not sure if it is hindering muscle gain or not
I’d say whichever is most convenient and have you consistently persevere with the setup.
Ultimately, fasting is a net negative and lifting will always have you gain muscles. It’s all about consistency for me.
