Hello all - just came off a 3.5 day fast (I was bed ridden due to excruciating gout) and I felt like I could have gone longer but the anti-inflammatories I was taking were really starting to hurt my stomach lining so I had a small meal.
Be that as it may, how often can one go on a 72h fast? I am considering doing 1 per week for a month “just” to record the results (also to save money quite frankly, but also to measure my grit).
Thoughts?
Have you tried using electrolytes (potassium chloride powder and Himalayan Pink Salt) for your 72hr fasts? Might make it easier. Also, you can prepare for your fast by eating clean for a whole week and build up nutrient stores for it
