I think the concern isn’t so much artificially in a way lowering one’s heart best but maintaining a holistic state of health such that your heart rate naturally lessens. Suffice to say, start running or some other exercise to allow a more efficient use of your heart.
Lower resting heart beat is good but lower is not consistently better. Even in excessively trained athletes who have like 40bpm resting ain’t healthy, although excess heart strain is likely the bigger issue.
