I’m just starting out next week and thinking of starting at 16:8. I would like to get to OMAD. How long should I take to work up to that?
Im on omad now for a month..It took me two weeks to start omad.. You need to cut sugar..it will make a huge difference.. Your appetite will disappear.. Low carb is preferred..Drink lots of water and whenever you need yo munch on something drink black coffee
On OMAD I battle to get all my calories in. I was coming in at about. 900 calories, even with added fat. Then I felt really uncomfortable eating all that food in one sitting. I do 16:8 and throw in at some 24s. This works well for me. Once it’s been two weeks since my booster I’m going to add in some longer fasts. In general I aim for 1600 calories but on 16:8 I’m usually around 1300 as I don’t snack. I’m not going this to lose weigh, which seems to be what motivates the majority on this sub.
