Does anyone think there can be optimal muscle growth if I do say a full body workout Monday, eat .75gprotein/lean muscle lbs
Then eat the same on a Tuesday, and fast from Wednesday to Sunday?
I want to build muscle and lose weight at the same time, but was wondering how my protein intake would have to look like.
The workout would be at 6am and I would feed well until Tuesday at 7pm, starting the fast Wednesday until breaking it with a protein packed meal Sunday afternoon.
Honestly who knows. As far as I’m aware there aren’t any studies to say one way or the other.
Start small though, if you’re new to fasting. I’ve found great success with a weekly 36-48 and a regular workout and cardio routine. I don’t skip the exercise on fasting days. But listen to your body and don’t be afraid to try new things.
