General Info/Phoenix Protocol

Hey everyone. Looking for more information regarding rolling dry fasts and if there’s any information about this in the Phoenix protocol. I’ve been doing rolling dry fasts 5-7 days each with a strict 1-2day refeed in between. Wondering if this is good as long as it’s sustainable to me. Any answers and thoughts appreciated :)!

Answer

Do you have a lot of weight to lose? The Phoenix protocol isn’t focused on weight loss as much. I know Cole Robinson seems to think if you have a lot of fat, you have a lot of water, so it is possible the dry fasts might not be as strenuous on the system if you have more fat. That’s all just theory though.

Answer

I had been rolling 48 and 72 hr water fasts, but since reading Phoenix Protocol I think that water fasting is definitely the wrong way to go, and maybe downright unhealthy, so I’ve switched to rolling dry fasts. It takes 5-7 days for the stem cell regen from what I recall, so if your dry fasting for health that’s something to keep in mind. But then you must take a break from dry fasting after that long of a period to renourish your body and nourish the new stem cells.
