Well, imo you can simply look at how a basic shake is made:
- add your protein powder - can add whatever amount you need
- add fats - nuts, seeds, peanut butter - all high calories and good fats. Can even add a spoonful of MCT oil as it has no taste
- add carbs - sweeter fruits or adding honey can work too
- add your liquid - any type of higher calorie milk will do
I see you’re looking for your pregnant wife who’s having trouble keeping food down. I second the recommendation to find a good protein powder (I personally like Botanica Energy Booster - has lots of extra b vitamins, amino acids and other nutrients in addition to protein).
That way you can mix with whole milk, fruits, some greens, sneak in nut butters if she can tolerate them again, and change it up as tastes and aversions change.
