i work 12 hours a day and want to save money

This combined with dry fasting will kill you. If you meant to do dry OMAD (One Meal A Day), then this should be possible given that you hydrate yourself thoroughly (which will be hard).

I do not know where you come from, but drinking water is close to free where I am from. So for me it’s a better option to do a normal OMAD instead of a dry one.

yes you can do 48hrs - 72hrs dryfast and have low carb refeed days (mostly meat) then go on 48-72hrs dryfast and you can keep doing that in a cycle until you are satisfied with the health benefits. since you are working you don’t wanna go too extreme on yourself, but if you work from home you can try to go longer than 72 hrs.

as for hiding it from your family, you can just tell them you ate already if they ask. if you’re afraid they’ll get suspicious “pretend” you’re eating or looking for something to eat by scanning the kitchen every now and then when your family is around. (:
