Giving it a try

Haven’t been taking care of myself for some time. Been sick with a breakthrough COVID case for over a week. Decided to stop fucking around and do what I need to do. I was a long-time successful IFer. IF + fasted weight training worked really well for me in the past, but I need to build discipline again because, over the last 3 years, I’ve been doing ALL the wrong things, and gained 30+ lbs. So, I decided to see how the Snake Diet works.

Bought all the salts yesterday and mixed up my first batch this morning. Tastes like Pedialyte without the sugar, which makes sense because the ingredients are identical, save for the phosphorus. All the Redditors in other posts in this thread talking about how bad this stuff tastes gave me a little pause, but it’s seriously fine.

All that to say that this is my first accountability post. Clocking in at 208.0 lbs. Planning on starting with rolling 48s until I’m feeling more solid in my commitment. Will check in in a week. Cheers, everybody.

Agreed. I don’t think it tastes bad at all.

I only fast one day a week though, and I’m not overweight, so I don’t have any advice for you other than stick with it. Results take some time. Set a start date, set a finish date. And just do it.

Things like this go much quicker and easier if you don’t sit around and stress how long it’s taking. Just do it till your end date and live life. Change will happen even if you don’t stress about it. :)

Good luck, mate!
