I’m on day 6 of a 60 day water fast and I don’t think I can go on. Mentally, I believe I could make it to 60 days but physically I just can’t. I’m feeling extremely sick, weak, and lethargic and I have a lot of work that I need to do that I haven’t been able to because of the fast. I was thinking instead of a 60-day straight fast, maybe I could do rolling fasts, where I fast for 6 days and only eat soup on the 7th. Has anyone tried this before? Do you think I could loose just as much weight as a straight 60 day fast.
I don’t blame you. I’m almost done with day 4 and I’m tired af. I’ve already lost about half the weight that I want to (not on this current fast but from the last two months) and just kind of want to take a break. But ugh idk I just want to get it over with
I’m curious why you wanted to do a 60 day fast. It just seems like a really really long time. Are you just trying to lose weight quickly or is there another reason? I’m new to this so I’m just curious. Thanks.
I’m on day 7.
If I have too much, or too little electrolytes I will feel sick. (I need a small amount daily)
Rolling fasts are even harder in my experience, because switching from burning my fat to food as well as switching back, takes over a week to fully rev up, so I feel knocked out, tired, and hungry more often.
This is the weakness of your mind talking.
Happened to me everytime i was about to cross the 10 day mark. When i finally crossed, i didn’t feel less wrecked, but i was used to functioning while being wrecked.
Wow! 6 days is stout. I know people that cannot do one full day.
I say if you want to continue fasting, to have some broth and see if it helps …if you still feel like quitting, do it because nobody knows your body like the way that you do.
Try to not eat sugar or breads to make it easier for when you get back on your fast. Take care!
