My caloric deficit is about 1200-1400. I usually OMAD because I find it more satisfying.

We’re eating fairly keto to increase the impact of fasting windows. I’m enjoying finding keto meals that feel like treats, but still include lots of veggies.

Made a keto pizza casserole the other day that went over like gangbusters with the spouse even tho it was 90% cauliflower florets.

On the menu tomorrow: pesto mozzarella burgers (no bun) with parmesan roasted brussel sprouts.

Just ground beef with spices pan-fried, cheese and a tablespoon of pesto chucked on top. Brussel sprouts with olive oil, salt, pepper and parmesan in the oven.

The day after, to use up the rest of the ground beef spouse wants taco bowls. A head of iceberg chopped, mix the ground beef with sautéed onions, chopped spinach and a jar of salsa, chuck on top of lettuce. Top with shredded cheese.

The day after probably Caveman Keto “spinach crap“ over riced cauliflower.

Somebody is gonna hate me but when I’m in a hurry and at the risk of eating worse there are several TV dinners I actually like eating. Banquet Classic Salisbury Steak is not bad, but it only has 350 calories. Boston Market has several at around 450 calories.

Those boxes of overly processed foods have saved me from a whole lot worse.

Answer

When I was in the US I would mostly eat at restaurants during fasting because I lived alone and it was easier to have an empty fridge.

My go to was Chipotle salad, no rice, no sour cream. I would vary the toppings. There was a Korean place that had a similar business model that I often went to too.

At home, I would make a 3 egg omelet and cook greens and other vegis. Plus a small soup. After that if I wanted something sweet I would eat it. But meal first, wait 20 minutes.

Since it’s winter lately I have been wanting soup. Soup base + a meat + a plate of vegis, half of which is cabbage or bean sprouts or shirataki noodles. I eat a little carbs Like rice or ramen or a piece of bread at the end and dessert.
