Plan to fast from 8pm to noon… any points to note?
Can I still:
Drink coffee with tiny bit of milk?
Eat some nuts?
Eat some fat free yogurt (small amount)?
You can drink black coffee and water. You cannot eat or add flavors to coffee or water because that will cause a rise in your insulin. If you are eating or stimulating your insulin production, that is not fasting. It’s just lowering your calories, which is also cool, but it’s not fasting.
Coffee with a little bit of milk is fine, it does affect a lil bit of the fast. The nuts and yogurt is a hard no.

There are a lot of people who are very strict on here and will give you a hard no to this question . If that kind of lifestyle feels too restrictive for you, I recommend doing some research into dirty fasting - this would allow a little milk in your coffee. The nuts and yogurt would break fast but can still be enjoyed in your eating window. The point is to find something that feels sustainable for you.🖤
