I don’t really have anyone to talk about this irl yet I’ve started calorie counting and fasting. Recently I got covid tested that’s come up negative but I’m stuck at home for 7 days and waiting for retesting, because my housemate came up positive. Idk why yet i ate a pizza last night then decided from 12am to 12am I won’t be consuming anything.
I’ve also became more mindful of calories because unless I’m walking, kayaking, or working where I’m on my feet all day I don’t move around enough to burn calories of my past diet. I’ve moved to a more Pescatarian based diet which has helped.
Yeah sometimes when you bringe your fasting practices can help alleviate the damage. However, I wouldn’t make a habit of this. It could lead to silly stuff like eating disorders but most likely just an unhealthy relationship with food(the exact opposite of what I think IF can do for you).
Good luck. Happy fasting
