Half and half.

I am going to try eating for half the week and fasting for half. It would look like this: Sunday night - start fasting after dinner (7-8pm) fast until Thursday dinner, then eat OMAD for the remainder of the week. I’m not so self important that I think I’m the first to think of this, so is anyone currently doing this or has done it before?

I have been doing Sunday night to Wednesday (68-72 hours fasting) then eat dinner on Wednesday. Then I go right back into a 40-44 hour fast that breaks on Friday. Friday is my cheat day because my hubby and I have a tradition that we call Highday Friday, so I try to stick to healthy snacks like carrots and hummus when I get the munchies. Otherwise I eat OMAD on eating days. I’m trying to strengthen my fasting muscle while at the same time make my fasting easier. I feel like one 90-92 hour fast would be easier than two shorter fasts and I would get more autophagy benefits, no?

You shouldn’t have any problems doing this. I have done similar to this in the past. You just need to make sure you make healthy choices during the eating period and eat yourself full so that you don’t go into starvation mode when you start fasting again.
