I’ve done IF multiple times in the past but never for this specific reason so I didn’t really think of it before. I’ve been having bloating and gas problems for the past month and have tried everything to no avail. Next on the list is trying out a long fast window (I typically did 20/4 fasts).
Has anyone who previously had bloating/gas issues had results from IF?
IF has reduced my bloating tremendously! And during my fasting window, organic ACV and black coffee with lemon have been my saviours! I saw on YouTube that breaking your fast with a glass of water + 1 tsp of ACV sets your digestive system and helps a lot. So I follow that diligently and it has surely helped. I’m also careful with cruciferous vegetables (in moderation) and rather I have lots of leafy vegetables in my diet which helps too!
You could try a symptom tracker to test different foods. It could be something that you never thought of. Mine’s nightshades! I had no clue that peppers and tomatoes could cause the problems in my body, but they were.
