I’ve been doing keto with IF for about 2 months now. Did a 48 hour fast and felt great. Hubby and I want to do a 72 hour fast starting tomorrow- we got a big salad and ribeye steaks planned for tonight and I got some of those LMNT packs for electrolytes. Any advice on going to 72 hours? Should I hold off the workouts for the next 3 days?
As the others have said, keep up with your electrolytes. I tend to space out drinking LMNT throughout the day because if I drink it all at once it makes my stomach a little upset.
Working out is up to you and how you feel. I’ve done hr long cardio workouts during 60+ hr fasts and felt great but I don’t chastise myself if I want to take it a little slower on a fasting day.
