Has anyone tried medical tourism for loose skin after their weight loss?

Pretty much the title. I (40f) lost a fair bit of weight and it left some loose skin. I plateaued for a few years and now with a new medication and lifestyle changes, I’m loosing weight again.

My skin is getting looser and I’m considering having the excess removed, but there’s no way I can afford it in the US. I’ve seen some remarkable transformations in weight loss here, so what have people done about their skin?

Answer

A group I’m in has a lot of people who did Plastics in Mexico. Just yesterday there was a post that was phenomenally impressive, I’ll go ahead and send you some more information because the poster gives details about where she went and how it went. She only paid $10,700 for everything and she got her arms, legs, breasts, and stomach done, basically her whole body, and included muscle repair and liposuction. That is about 40% less than my mother paid just to have her waist and breast reduction after insurance in the US, so the savings is significant for sure.
