The title is pretty self explanatory, I’ve been on birth control and it’s put my hormones out of whack. I’ve seen women eating to their menstrual cycle and i want to try it, but i have to eat around 4 meals a day and i follow OMAD fasting. If anyone has done this, can you provide tips on how you got all of your nutrients in?
I did OMAD for about 14 months and it started causing some issues for me. I’ve had to open my window a bit in order to get my hormones to regulate. I was having breakthrough bleeding/spotting. I think it was due to the fasting combined with accidently eating low fat. I make sure to eat at least 40 grams of fat per day now and it’s helped. I use chronometer to track everything I eat. Lots of veggies and whole foods and I rotate my proteins. Chicken, fish, beef, pork…nothing is off limits. For fats I do butter, olive oil, avocado, rendered animal fat and cheese.
