So far I’ve mostly been fasting through until dinner time (5:30-6:30) but I’m kind of wanting to switch to where I’m fasting through the evening and night because I’m having some GI issues at night and just feel blegh.
Does anyone have better luck having their window earlier in the day?

Earlier is better if you can swing it. See recent study above, also work of Dr. Sachin Panda. It works best for circadian rhythms.
I am early eater. I eat from around 9 am to around 3 or 4 pm si breakfast and lunch. It is easier for me to have the last hours of fasting during my sleep ☺️. after my last meal I dont even get hungry before going to bed.
I really enjoy eating dinner so i tend to skip breakfast and lunch. It works well for me because when I break a fast I get sleepy, which is perfect for the evening. But if I’m fasting in the evening its hard to sleep. The definite downside is its easier to overeat or eat poor food choices when breaking a fast, and going to bed bloated with a sore tum tum sucks too.
I had a snack and dinner in my 16:30 to 19:30 window for 2 months and it was alright, I did get pretty hungry by the end of the fast but felt good. Now this past month I changed it to have one meal between 12:00 and 13:00 and I feel fantastic, I barely get hungry at all. Also that time allows me to workout deep into the fast in the morning and that’s how I’ve been tapping on my fat stores
