Yes. Started IF with the Mastering Diabetes method in 2016. A lot of things occurred between then & now, so I just started IF again last year. I’m type 1, & my a1C has dropped from 11.8+ down to 6.1 on my last draw, and that was many months ago. I’m on day 28 of consistent fasting (only water in fasting window,) & my standar 3 units per hour with a correction factor of 1:4 is now .25 units per hour background insulin. Doing stellar. Really does work! Dr. Jamnadas has a great talk on this on YouTube. His lecture is packed full of info & he is easy to understand. The lecture is called Fasting for Survival with Galen Foundation. He has others about IR & Diabetes. Dr. Jason Fung book The Diabetes Code also goes into this & so does Mastering Diabetes.
Changes in me: sleeping a lot more soundly/deeply, far happier, not stressed out, no longer cranky, optimistic about life, far more energy, the list goes on and on. I will do IF for the rest of my life. So many benefits!
